PDS Year 7/8

What a great day  the non-competitive swimmers had at Parnell Pools on Thursday.  The drizzly morning  meant that we stayed at school and had some great dance tuition by Ms MacRae.
After morning tea we headed to the pools. The skies cleared and we enjoyed a couple of hours of racing in the 15 metre pool.  This culminated in races in the 25 metre pool and even a 50 metre freestyle race.
Wow ! can Shay swim, she almost caught Mr J and he had a diving start.
After a late lunch, the 45 minutes of  free time in the pool was great fun. The diving board was well used and the noodle fight was noisy. Who would believe the sound created by slapping the noodles on the water.
