Today the treasure hunt in Otorohunga let us stretch out legs and learn a bit about NZ history.
The kiwi house keeper talks about the kiwi, kea and kaka were informative and interesting. We saw a range of NZ birds and tuatara in the huge aviary. We finished with Russ in the teacher room with lots of information about endangered species, kiwi and their characteristics and habitats .
A great way to finish a fabulous week!
